British Security Industry Association
The British Security Industry Association is Britain's largest association acting on behalf of the security industry. The BSIA has a membership consisting of over 500 businesses. Collectively this accounts for over two thirds of Britain's security industry, specialising in all aspects of security services.
The BSIA ensures its members are at the top of their game by regulating services and products that are offered. By making sure that its members are stocking and distributing new and leading lines to their customers the BSIA are safeguarding the industry allowing customers to find what they need and businesses to keep supplying it.
National Security Inspectorate
The National Security Inspectorate has been working for over thirty years, protecting customer's rights. The NSI exists as a body for approving businesses in the security and fire prevention sectors.
The NSI is not focussed on making a profit and is not connected to any other businesses or groups in the industry. NSI approved companies receive regular inspections from dedicated inspectors to extremely high standards, meeting or exceeding guidelines of the Police, Fire Service and insurance companies.
The main objective of the NSI is to continue to raise standards of security products and services to benefit customers. The NSI also encourage members companies to train there staff to the highest levels possible to keep them the premier businesses operating in the industry.
SSAIB
The SSAIB is a not for profit organisation formed with input from key industry companies, the police force, fire services and insurance companies.
The SSAIB work to provide a resource that allows its consumer's access to professional suppliers of products and services. The SSAIB are also involved in making and maintaining standards for the security industry by liaising with police and fire services and other key figures in the security sector.
The SSAIB has UKAS accreditation and its services are regularly inspected and upheld to international standards.
